just a comment: never have i heard a reason for having a running clock on PAT. I understand that maybe it helps speed up the game, but i think even the team that abused the rule tonight would agree that within 1- or minutes, the clock shouldnt run on PAT. call it however u want to, say it was a strategic play, but the fact is, at every level of football, PAT is on a dead clock. Also, referees need to realize that if they don't stick to their guns and ignore all the bs arguing, then theyre going to continue to have to deal with it. Sack up, ignore the banter, and just start the play clock to get the game going again. what a joke, extremely unprofessional

I have been playing in flag leagues for a long time, and I have never been invloved in a league that is so unprofessional and unorganized. Refs don't know the rules... Calls get changed becuase of influence... CLOCK RUNS ON PAT INSIDE 1 MIN..... WOW!!! i'm still shocked.

in most leagues.. the clock never stops in 1st half but the clock switches to pro style with 1 min left in game

PM: well, now you can add this to your " All Leagues" resume and say youve seen it all and played in them all... Please dont talk about " professionalism " because thats not what you represented last night and i know who you are...
Lobo: Whats your point?
Pretty funny that the " new" guys who decide to play in this league all of sudden have their own views on how things should be ran. You guys need to get a hold of your captains and talk to them.
We have been here 7 seasons and nothing has changed. Although since you have called this league an " Influence " based one, Im in the plans of changing this league to the " Sporanos Flag Football League"

no point made.. i think the league is fine as is.. best playing facility and best teams in the area hands down.. besides the refs are no better or worse in any other league.. the afg just so happens to be the only league to have a message board to air out these issues..

Sal I think this is the best 4on4 league around it has the best talent of any league around hands down. it is hard to make calls with one ref but, like he said they are no better or worse than most other refs. As for the call last night there was alot of bickering but, that is because the ref on the side was unaware that if the flag crossed over the pylon it was good so the head ref took him to the side they talked about it and made the call no one was involved when they were talking so it was totally there decision which I thought was right for them to talk about it without anyone around. Great league sal no matter what anyone says.

PM and WNRBSH its very easy to complain about a league when u lose, dont be sore losers about rules or mistakes, let ur game do the talking. this league has been going on for a long time and yes its true, sorry no one is perfect, im sure if u guys tried to ref a game by urself u would make some mistakes too. just take the league as it is or dont come back its that simple.

Personally I think it is a GREAT league!!! We have been playing for years and have traveled all over. I have spent over $500 traveling to New Mexico to play and have gotten refs that do not know the concept of football so its just one of those things you have to deal with. No matter where you play you are going to get calls you agree/disagree with. Some go your way and some dont. Thats Football!!

1st.... Thank you Sal for putting this all together and another competitive season.
2nd... Congrats to the State for another Championship.
Now the other BS.... Playoff and Championship night brings out the best and sometimes worse in people, and last playoffs brought out the worse in us. The simple fact is that our game has to do the talking, and we can't allow a judgement call to get into our heads. We lost because Looney Tunes played a smarter game and stayed calm under pressure. Can we hug it out?

Lets put it this way it shouldn't matter what happened on 1 call or 1 play you have the whole game to make things happen and if you dont make something happen thats your own fault and the refs and the league arent going to change a dam thing.
Just ask the guys who keep winning these dam tournaments!
Congrats to the state for winning yet another Championship!!
