I would like to take this time to congratulate Lights Out for winning the 2008 Summer League championships. Just goes to show you what a competative league the AFG is. Lights Out placed fourth in the AFG regular season, and beat three SOLID teams to go to and win the championships..... Congratulations to Omar H, Arash, Chris, Tim D, Mostafa W, Arvin, Prime, Raffiel, and all others in the Lights Out Orginization I might have missed..... Also thank you to everyone for comming out and making it a Great year. Seee you all next league.....

ok lets do this again. ok i wanna thank simon for throwing another wonderful season you got another 15 more season until all the strings on ur head fall out cuzooo, thank Al for writing the power rangers-( freakin FAZ) oh and Al call Niko tell him to come back from yemen plans have failed running the sand hills trying to build his speed is not going to help 786 win. Faz for not being a FOB this season its"Ranking not ranging", Ali for only having highlights on 786, Elmar for putting a shirt on. Dirty South whose going to study the whole offensive of playbook of wreck n crew tonight. Paul bro if u ever need a team call me will even except john, mario, chris, OJ, ur video man dont trip ill make room for them on my team. Well, since I can't go to sleep and I took the night off from work, I want to take this time to congradulate Lights Out for winning the championship game. They played really well all three rounds.
Tim Delaney and Omar H. had three of the best games I'v seen them play, especially Tim, he was unstopable.
Congradulations once again guys. Hopefully we'll see each other soon in the two day tourny.

Conrgrats to lights out. Played with only 5 people and you can argue they did not have theyre best team out there. Thats what maked the AFG exciting is anything can happen in the playoffs. Thanks Sal for a well ran league!!!! Alex thanks for all the summaries and comments and making the message board interesting.
P.S. I thought i was the only one to notice that all of the highlights were of 786 LOL.

Omar- Not that you were never a good QB but your throwing alot better then when I first seen you play at the AFG summer nights tourney. Good nuts man way to ball!!! Ill keep you guys posted on some down South tourneys if you guys want to travel at all. Conrats!!!!!

Ok Fred...thank you for not coming this season.. The city of Hayward was pleased with our services and uses of their fields this season.. You ask why?..Rem last season, you started grazing the turf field like it was real grass you mad cow..freaking caveman!.. It also great to know that your acting career is moving up.. Those GEICO commercials are off the hook... I found out why your in Kansas you punk.. Discovery Channel is filming their new series," Man vs. Fred Amin"..

Sal, thanks for a very well run and well organized league. Your the first ghanny to accomplish something of the sort. lol
I think I speak for the entire team when I say, there was no one besides us who thought we were going to do what we did last night. Its a highly competitive league especially in the playoffs. Some of the best athletes play on the these teams and every game was a tight game all the way through. Its a complement to the way all the teams have grown and become so much better through the years because when we first started the league, it was no where near the level it is today.
Thanks guys and Trust me there is simply no way only one person could have pulled this off. This was an absolute team win in every sense of the word. We had missing players due to injuries, guys fighting through fatigue, and one player trying out for his nations olympic soccer team still I think it was the drive to win that helped us.
When the best teams in norhtern Cali are losing at this level you the competition is tough, Congrats to Wreck N Crew for having to go through such a tough stretch and end the way it did. You guys played your asses off.
We look forward to seeing everyone in the upcoming tournies and leagues.

I wanted to say congrats to all my teamates for an incrdible job on sunday, due to a tough injury i wasnt able to help my team to my full potential but everybody carried me on their shoulders and we pulled through with determination and heart! Congrats to Tim for playing relentless, chris for stepping up every play, mostafa for an incredible season on both sides of the ball, and for omar who said that we we're not going to go home without the championship before the playoffs started, and he steped up and was in the zone the whole playoffs.
Thank you Sal for organizing yet another great season, Thank you Al for the medication and support to get me through it, lol.. And again sorry for not being able to contribute the way i usually do!
P.S. we cant 4get about Arvin cuz he played great throughout the season and helped us a great deal, so congrats to him also and hope the olympic tryouts went well! Congrats to primetime also!
Thank you Sal for keeping the lights on for this wonderful season but until next season its officially LIGHTS OUT!!!! lol

I would like to take this moment and congrat my fellow teamates on an amazing season and amazing win. It was tough. It was almost impossible for us to win with just four players and one player playing injured. It was a sweet win. We played as a team. Thanks to wcrew for playing a great game it was tough game, but we pulled it off. Omar called it from the begining of the night and we never looked back. also thanks to sal and everyone who participated in the tournament. Like arash said its lights out till next season.

Sal,
Congratulations on another well-run season. I left my hamstring out there on the field -- let me know if anyone turns it in to lost-and-found.
Congrats to Wrecking Crew for making it to the finals for your second consecutive season, and for knocking us out in the semis.
Lights Out -- what can I say. Congrats on knocking off an excellent 10-0 786 squad, and on a ridiculous last-second play to earn the championship.

WTF... is this.......i feel like i just walked into a lockerroom and everyone is jackin each other off. Congrats this and congrats that, calm down folks this is only flag football. and someone get a sqeegy for that.
On that note (someone please put a dong in my hand too) Congrats to Lights out, Omar H is truly a class act and deserves this. and Mustafa Wally should go get his tubes tied now, cuz this has got to be a high point in his life.
out of anger tonight, alex went home and ripped the sleeves off all of his dress shirts, now they just look like wife beaters with buttons and cuff links, maybe even turn his jeans into daisy dukes. there is no telling what piece of clothing this man will shred. I believe he turned a 3 piece suit into a bandana once.
yusuf ---- he pulled over, arrested and beat a helpless victim all for the simple fact that he had one of his head LIGHTS OUT!!
Fuzz ate four small asians on his way home cuz of chris
Yama- is gonna stare in the mirror for 36 hours and say to himself "You are only made to win, not lose" (he is the T100 from Terminator2). Then, for no apparent reason he is gonn chase a car in a parking lot at 30 mph while only clinching his jaw.
ali ---is gonna dress up his family members and video tape a re-dramatization where he knocks the ball down at the end of the game, then upload it onto youtube. then he will go back to perfecting his eyebrows.
(btw, niggga why do you shave your head when u have a full head of hair, thats like being in a wheel chair with perfectly good legs, get up and run)
